ROLE SUMMARY: to co-ordinate the TLC Kidz programme on behalf of Meath
Women?s Refuge and Support Services
INFORMATION ABOUT THE TLC KIDZ PROJECT
The TLC Kidz Project works with children and families who have
experienced gender-based violence and abuse. The Project involves the
establishment of a co-ordinated inter-agency response at a local
community level which raises awareness of the impact of domestic abuse
and violence on children and has a responsive collaborative
interagency response to the needs of children and their families. At
the core of the project is delivery of the TLC Kidz Group Programme to
children and their mothers who are in recovery from domestic violence
and abuse.
WHAT WILL THE PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR, TLC KIDZ PROGRAMME DO?
They will deliver a programme to raise awareness of the impact and
prevalence of domestic violence and abuse on children, promote a
co-ordinated inter- agency response and roll out the TLC Kidz
programmes in Co. Meath.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Relevant professional 3rd level qualification (minimum of Level 7
on the NFQ) essential, for example: Social Care, Education, Youth and
Community Work, Psychology or equivalent.
* Full driving licence and access to the use of suitably insured car
essential.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
HOURS OF WORK: Part Time: 3 days a week/**Apply on the website** hour
(this may include evening work/weekend depending on when the programme
is running)

FIXED TERM CONTRACT: **Apply on the website** hours a week for 1 year
FTC from date of contract. It is envisaged the days of work will be
agreed on with the manager at a time that meets the needs of the
organisation.
